What is covered

Every cable, circuit, and desk, handled.

Moves go sideways in the details: an internet install that slips three weeks, a phone port nobody scheduled, a printer that never made it onto the list. CTA plans the whole technology side of the move so the details are already handled.

Before the move
  • Walkthrough of the new space and a network plan
  • Internet service ordered early, since installs often take weeks
  • Low-voltage cabling coordinated with your contractor
  • Firewall, switches, and Wi-Fi designed for the space
  • Phone numbers ported or the phone system moved
  • A move list of every device, printer, and account
Move week and after
  • Rack and stack: network gear installed and labeled
  • Workstations and printers set up and tested
  • Conference rooms and displays working
  • Wi-Fi tested room by room
  • On site the first morning your team is in
  • Old site closed out: gear retired, data wiped, services canceled

How a move usually goes

Plan early. Move once.

Every space is different, but the order of operations rarely changes. If your move is closer than 60 days out, that is fine too. It just means the internet order goes in first.

60 to 90 days out

Plan the space

Walk the new space, plan the network and cabling, and order internet service. Circuit installs are the most common reason a move slips, so this happens first.

2 to 4 weeks out

Stage everything

Cabling finished and tested, network gear configured ahead of time, number ports scheduled, and a device-by-device move list everyone can check against.

Move week

Cut over and test

Equipment comes down at the old site and goes up at the new one. Every desk, printer, and phone gets tested before your team arrives, and Kyle is on site the first morning.

Common questions

Straight answers.

The questions that come up before almost every move. More on the FAQ page.

How early should we call?

Ideally two to three months before move-in, mostly because of internet install lead times. Shorter timelines are workable. The plan just gets tighter.

Do you work with our contractor and landlord?

Yes. CTA coordinates cabling, power, and rack placement with your contractor and building, so the low-voltage work is done right the first time.

What does an office move cost?

It depends on headcount, distance, and how much new equipment is involved. Every move is scoped after a walkthrough and quoted at a fixed price up front.

What happens next

You will hear back from Kyle personally.

Every message goes straight to Kyle, the founder of CTA. Tell him where you are headed and roughly when, and you will usually hear back the same business day. The next step is a walkthrough of the new space, with no pressure and no obligation.
